JSW MG Motor India has launched the MG Hector Tomahawk EV, a new electric SUV with a claimed 517-kilometre MIDC range and a starting price of ₹19.49 lakh ex-showroom for the outright-purchase configuration reported by CarDekho. The model was unveiled in India on Aug. 26, 2026, amid strong search interest around the Hector Tomahawk name.

CarDekho reported that the SUV uses a 69.2kWh battery, produces 204 PS and 320Nm, supports 90kW DC fast charging and can take the battery from 20% to 80% in a claimed 35 minutes. It also lists vehicle-to-home, or V2H, capability. The entry seven-seater can also be offered through a battery-as-a-service plan, with the price structure varying by variant and ownership model.
Times of India separately reported the launch and identified the electric SUV as a seven-seater, while noting that a plug-in hybrid version is also part of the wider product announcement. Prices and specifications can differ between the EV and PHEV versions, so they should not be combined. The range figure is a manufacturer-claimed MIDC result; real-world driving range will depend on speed, load, temperature, terrain and air-conditioning use.
