Nothing Headphone (a) Price Set at $199 as 135-Hour Battery Model Goes on Sale

By iNews DeskMarch 14, 20264 Mins Read

The Nothing Headphone (a) price has been confirmed as the company’s first over-ear headphones officially reach stores. The device went on sale this week through the company’s website and major retail platforms in North America.

The launch introduces a new product category for the brand known primarily for smartphones and earbuds. With a focus on design and battery endurance, the model enters the competitive premium wireless headphone market with several distinctive features.

Nothing expands audio lineup with its first over-ear headphones

The Nothing Headphone (a) price is set at $199 in the United States, £149 in the United Kingdom, and €159 across parts of Europe. The headphones are currently available through the company’s official store and selected retailers, with additional online marketplace sales scheduled to begin later this month.

The headphones are offered in three main colors: black, white, and pink. A limited yellow edition is scheduled to release in early April as part of the brand’s signature design approach, which often emphasizes bold color choices and transparent elements.

The device weighs approximately 310 grams and uses breathable memory foam ear cushions designed for extended listening sessions. The build includes an IP52 rating, offering protection against dust and light water splashes.

Battery performance is positioned as the central feature. According to the company’s specifications, the headphones can deliver up to 135 hours of playback when active noise cancellation is disabled. This figure translates to roughly five days of continuous listening on a single charge.

Quick charging is also supported. A short five-minute charge can provide roughly five hours of playback time, allowing users to regain enough battery for short trips or daily commutes.

Unlike many competing models that rely heavily on touch panels, the headphones use physical controls integrated into the ear cups. The system includes a Roller, Paddle, and Button design that allows users to adjust volume, switch tracks, or change noise cancellation modes with tactile feedback.

Audio features and positioning in the wireless headphone market

Inside the headphones, Nothing uses 40mm titanium-coated drivers intended to deliver clearer audio and stronger bass response. The model also supports Hi-Resolution Audio Wireless using the LDAC codec, enabling higher-quality music streaming on compatible devices.

Adaptive active noise cancellation is included with three adjustable levels. Users can switch between low, mid, and high settings depending on surrounding noise conditions. A transparency mode allows outside sound to pass through when situational awareness is needed.

The noise cancellation system relies on multiple microphones and software tuning to automatically adjust to different environments. The headphones also analyze fit and surrounding sound levels to adapt the cancellation intensity.

The release places Nothing in direct competition with established audio brands that dominate the premium wireless headphone segment. While the price point sits below many flagship headphones, the company is emphasizing battery life and design identity as key differentiators.

With the Nothing Headphone (a) price set below many premium rivals and a claimed 135-hour battery life, the company is positioning the new model as a long-lasting wireless option in an increasingly crowded headphone market.
