More than a month after its release, O Romeo continues to register modest footfall in cinemas, reflecting a run that has slowed but not yet faded. By Day 33, the film’s net collection in India stands at ₹72.43 crore, with total gross earnings reaching ₹85.67 crore across nearly 68,000 shows.

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the crime drama opened on 13 February and found early traction through a strong first week. The film brought in ₹47.10 crore during its initial seven days, a figure largely shaped by steady weekend turnout and wide screen availability.
Its opening day collection of ₹8.50 crore set the tone, followed by a noticeable jump on Saturday. Sunday numbers settled slightly lower, but the weekend ensured a firm base before weekday earnings began their expected slide. Even then, the drop was gradual rather than sharp, allowing the film to close its first week just short of the ₹50 crore mark.
The second week saw collections ease to ₹14.45 crore as screen counts started to shrink. Daily earnings fluctuated, with occasional weekend lifts, but the overall trend pointed downward. By the third week, the pace had slowed further, adding ₹6.65 crore over seven days, with weekday figures slipping below ₹1 crore.
In its fourth week, the film contributed ₹2.95 crore. New releases claimed a larger share of screens, though O Romeo retained some presence, particularly over weekends where occupancy hovered in the mid-teens.
The fifth week has been quieter. Daily earnings have remained under ₹1 crore, with Day 31 marking a slight uptick before figures dipped again. By Day 32, collections stood at ₹0.18 crore, taking the cumulative net total to its current level.
The film’s trajectory follows a pattern often seen with mid-budget crime dramas, where early curiosity drives initial turnout before attention shifts elsewhere. Weekend occupancy has consistently outperformed weekdays, though overall attendance has thinned in recent weeks.
Featuring a cast that includes Shahid Kapoor, Tripti Dimri, Nana Patekar, Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah, Avinash Tiwary and Disha Patani, the film draws loosely from accounts linked to Mumbai’s underworld in the 1990s.

For now, O Romeo remains in limited theatrical circulation. With its current numbers in place, attention is likely to turn toward its next phase once a streaming release is formally announced.
