OnePlus is preparing to introduce the final model in its Ace 6 lineup, with the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra now edging closer to an official unveiling. The device has surfaced in recent days through a series of controlled disclosures, offering a clearer sense of its design direction and some early technical cues.

The company has leaned into a familiar visual identity. The Ace 6 Ultra carries the same squircle-shaped camera module positioned in the top-left corner of the rear panel, consistent with the broader Ace 6 series. It reflects a design language OnePlus has been steadily standardizing across its recent releases.
In China, an early reservation page has already gone live through Oppoâs online store. Prospective buyers can secure a place in the purchase queue with a nominal deposit, bundled with additional benefits including a power bank and extended warranty coverage. The move suggests the company is moving into the final stages of pre-launch preparation.
Senior company figures have also stepped in to preview the device publicly. Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, recently showcased the phone, followed by a set of official images highlighting what the company calls the âAce Awakeningâ color option. The finish combines darker tones with a textured 3D pattern that subtly incorporates branding into the back panel.
Beyond aesthetics, OnePlus has drawn attention to an unusual engineering choice involving the phoneâs metal frame. Rather than simply dissipating heat outward, the structure is designed to reduce heat transfer to the userâs hands. The intention appears to be improving comfort during extended use, with heat likely redirected toward the display and rear casing.
Much of the hardware remains unconfirmed, though early indications point to a high-end configuration. The device is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with a 6.8-inch display offering a 165Hz refresh rate. Battery capacity is also set to increase significantly, with reports suggesting an 8,500mAh unit supported by 100W fast charging.
If accurate, those figures would mark a notable step up from the previous generation, particularly in battery size and display refresh rate. The broader Ace 6 family already spans a mix of MediaTek and Qualcomm chipsets, alongside large-capacity batteries.
An exact launch date has yet to be confirmed, though the company is expected to complete the announcement cycle before the end of the month. For now, OnePlus appears to be maintaining a steady release of controlled details, building toward a formal introduction.

The Ace 6 Ultra, as it stands, reflects a continuation rather than a departure, with incremental changes shaping what may be the most capable variant in the series.
