OnePlus is heading deeper into 2026 with another question mark hanging over its mid-range lineup. After an unsteady start to the year, with rumours about a possible shutdown that the company has since addressed by saying its India operations will continue as normal, attention has shifted to a different kind of uncertainty: timing.
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the OnePlus Nord 6, identified as model CPH2795, was earlier planned for a global release in March. That plan now appears to have changed, with the launch said to be pushed to April, and no reason offered for the delay.
The same tip also notes there are no signs of the OnePlus Nord CE 6, which is typically positioned as the more affordable companion in the Nord lineup. That absence matters because OnePlus usually launches two Nord phones together, aimed squarely at the mid-range segment.
Pricing is where the situation becomes tricky for buyers hoping to plan an upgrade. The material available does not provide any official or leaked pricing for the OnePlus Nord 6. For context, last year’s OnePlus Nord 5 launched at Rs 31,999, while the Nord CE5 arrived at Rs 24,999, with both leaning on performance-first positioning, large batteries, capable cameras, and long software support.
On the hardware front, the Nord 6 is described as a global version of the OnePlus Turbo 6 and is speculated to be a rebrand of that China model. A Geekbench listing tied to CPH2795 is said to point to a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, positioned as an upgrade over the Nord 5’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
Other details mentioned include a 6.78-inch AMOLED or flat OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, Android 16 out of the box, and 80W charging support referenced through an IECEE CB Test Certificate (SG PSB-IV-15634) issued in December 2025.
Battery expectations are a major part of the conversation. The phone is associated with a 9,000mAh capacity in the leaks, though it is also noted that OnePlus could reduce that figure for the Nord 6, even if it still ends up larger than the Nord 5’s 6,800mAh.
Camera and durability claims in the provided information point to a 50MP + 2MP rear setup, a 16MP front camera, a refreshed design, and IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. For now, the bigger story is simple: the waiting may be longer than expected, and key buying details, including price, remain unresolved.
