Riteish Deshmukh’s historical drama *Raja Shivaji* continued its theatrical run with a slower pace at the domestic box office on its fourteenth day, even as the film maintained a stronger hold in Marathi compared to Hindi markets.

According to figures reported by Sacnilk, the film collected an estimated Rs 0.58 crore net across India on Day 14 from 1,948 shows. The Marathi version remained ahead, contributing Rs 0.43 crore, while the Hindi version added Rs 0.15 crore.
The Marathi release was screened in 954 shows, slightly fewer than the Hindi version, which ran across 994 shows nationwide. Despite the wider Hindi presence, the regional version continued to account for the larger share of collections.
The film’s total domestic net collection has now reached Rs 75.63 crore. Its reported gross collection stands at Rs 89.56 crore after two weeks in theatres.
Made on an estimated budget of Rs 100 crore, *Raja Shivaji* is being described as the most expensive Marathi film produced so far. The film opened strongly on May 1 with Rs 11.35 crore on its first day from 6,192 shows across India.
Collections remained steady through the opening weekend. The film earned Rs 10.55 crore on Day 2 and Rs 12 crore on Day 3, helping it move past the Rs 33 crore mark within its first three days in cinemas.
Advance booking had also indicated strong initial interest. The film reportedly collected Rs 5.14 crore gross before release, with the Marathi version alone contributing Rs 4.25 crore.
Produced by Genelia D’Souza and Jyoti Deshpande, the film features a large ensemble cast that includes Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan, Jitendra Joshi, Boman Irani, Amol Gupte and Genelia Deshmukh.
The film has also moved past the opening-day performances of Marathi titles *Sairat* and *Timepass 2*, both of which had recorded estimated opening-day nett collections of Rs 3.60 crore.
