Samsung Galaxy A18 design and specs leaked on July 8-9, 2026, courtesy of industry leaker OnLeaks and CAD renders shared with case makers. The budget-friendly phone features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display at 90Hz and drops Exynos for Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 on the 5G model.
The A18 measures 164.4 x 77.8 x 7.84mm with a triple rear camera setup. The design follows Samsung’s established language. Battery capacity is around 5,000mAh with fast charging support on both variants.
Processor Strategy Shift
Samsung’s move to Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 for the 5G model marks a departure from relying solely on Exynos. The 4G variant stays with MediaTek’s Helio G99. This split strategy allows Samsung to optimize performance based on region and connectivity.
The Snapdragon chip delivers better real-world performance than Exynos in the budget tier. Users in 5G markets get the better processor.
Camera and Design
The triple camera setup is unchanged from the A17, but the housing has been refined. Samsung isn’t chasing megapixel wars in the A-series. The camera is practical, not flagship.
The U-shaped notch is familiar Samsung design language. The build remains durable without being premium.
Launch Timeline and Pricing
Mass production begins in August 2026. Autumn launch is expected. Pricing: £199-209 for the 5G model and £169-179 for the 4G model in the UK market.
The Galaxy A18 is positioned as a practical, durable, everyday phone. OnLeaks’ CAD renders are typically accurate—expect this design to materialize.
