Suzuki 2W sales recorded a strong jump in February 2026 as the company reported combined global sales of 1,23,299 units. The figure represents a 37 percent increase compared with 89,966 units sold during the same month in 2025.
The growth came largely from the Indian market, which continues to be the brand’s most important sales region. Domestic dispatches reached 1,01,071 units during the month, reflecting a 38 percent rise from 73,215 units recorded a year earlier.
Domestic demand and exports drive Suzuki 2W growth
Domestic sales remained the largest contributor to Suzuki’s February performance. The company shipped more than one lakh two-wheelers across India during the month as scooters and motorcycles continued to attract strong demand in urban and semi-urban markets.
Export performance also showed clear improvement. Overseas shipments climbed to 22,228 units in February 2026, marking a 33 percent increase compared with 16,751 units exported during the same month last year.
Aftersales operations followed the same upward direction. Revenue generated through spare parts and related service operations reached Rs. 893.6 million for the month. That figure represents an 18 percent increase compared with the corresponding period in the previous year.
The company’s manufacturing base in India remains central to its global supply chain. Suzuki Motorcycle India operates its production facility at Kherki Daula in Gurugram, Haryana, with an installed annual capacity of around 1.3 million units. The plant produces scooters, motorcycles and larger displacement models for both domestic buyers and export markets.
Several models continue to anchor the company’s volume strategy. The Access 125 scooter range accounts for a large share of Suzuki’s monthly sales. The Burgman Street 125 also contributes significantly in the scooter category.
Other offerings include the Avenis 125 and the recently introduced e-Access electric-inspired variant. In the motorcycle segment, the Gixxer series remains a core product line with 155 cc and 250 cc models. Premium motorcycles such as the Hayabusa continue to represent the brand’s high-end portfolio.
Network expansion and events strengthen market presence
Suzuki’s recent product and network updates also played a role in maintaining momentum. The company recently introduced an updated Access scooter variant equipped with single-channel Anti-Lock Braking System technology.
Retail expansion continued during the month as well. A new dealership named Kanak Suzuki was inaugurated in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The company also opened its first dealership in Gangtok, extending its reach in the northeastern region of India.
Brand engagement programs remained active across several cities. The Hyderabad edition of the Suzuki Matsuri festival attracted more than 3,700 riders and enthusiasts.
The company also participated in Anime India 2026 in Kolkata and organized the nationwide Suzuki Motofest campaign. Additional community events included Gixxer Pit Stop interactions in multiple cities, a V-Strom Experience Day held in Vadodara, and Suzuki Access Mileage Contest events conducted in Angul and Rupnagar.
These outreach programs reflect the brand’s broader effort to strengthen rider communities and increase visibility among young buyers.
Suzuki 2W sales growth in February 2026 highlights the company’s expanding footprint in India and improving export performance, supported by strong scooter demand, dealership expansion and rider engagement initiatives.
