There are early signs that Vivo may be preparing a broader release for its next flagship lineup, a shift from last yearâs strategy. The companyâs upcoming premium models have begun appearing in international certification databases, a step that typically precedes market launches outside China.

The Vivo X300 Ultra first surfaced in the IMEI database in November 2025, according to a report by SmartPrix. At that stage, the listing alone did not confirm any global plans. Early database entries often serve internal and regulatory purposes, and timing can vary widely before commercial rollout.
The picture became clearer this week.
On February 25, Gizmochina reported that both the X300 Ultra and the Vivo X300 FE had been listed on Indonesiaâs SDPPI certification database. The filings reveal the model numbers V2562 for the Ultra variant and V2537 for the FE model.
For Chinese smartphone makers, clearance from Indonesiaâs telecom authority is often among the final regulatory hurdles before devices reach international shelves. While certification does not confirm launch dates or regional availability, it typically signals that commercial release is being readied for markets beyond China.
That marks a potential departure from last yearâs approach. The vivo X200 Ultra remained exclusive to China, limiting access for buyers elsewhere who were interested in the companyâs top-tier offering.
The latest filings suggest Vivo may be reconsidering that strategy, at least for select markets. Still, global availability does not necessarily mean a presence everywhere. Vivo historically maintains a limited footprint in the United States, and its devices rarely appear through major American carriers or large retail chains.
For now, the certification trail is the clearest indicator available. No official announcement has been made, and the listings do not disclose specifications, pricing, or launch timelines.

What they do show is movement â and for followers of Vivoâs flagship lineup, that movement extends beyond Chinaâs borders. Whether that translates into a wider retail rollout will become clearer in the weeks ahead, as regulatory approvals tend to be followed by formal announcements.
