Xiaomi has launched the xiaomi 17 ultra and the standard Xiaomi 17 in India, just weeks after their global debut. Both devices arrive with the same specifications as their international versions and will be available through online platforms starting later this month.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Price and Availability in India
The xiaomi 17 ultra is priced at INR 1,39,999 ($1,525) for the single 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. As part of an early bird offer running from March 13 to March 17, buyers will receive the Xiaomi Professional Photography Kit at no additional cost.
The xiaomi 17 ultra will go on sale in India starting March 18. It will be available through Amazon and Xiaomiâs official online store. The smartphone will be offered in two color options: Black and White.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra Specifications
The xiaomi 17 ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and features a 6.9-inch LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
The device packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
On the camera front, the xiaomi 17 ultra includes a Leica-branded rear camera system consisting of:
- 50MP 1-inch primary sensor
- 200MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS and continuous optical zoom
- 50MP ultrawide camera
For selfies, the phone features a 50MP front-facing camera. The device also carries IP66 and IP65 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Xiaomi 17 Price and Specifications
Alongside the xiaomi 17 ultra, Xiaomi also introduced the compact Xiaomi 17. The device starts at INR 89,999 ($980) for the 12GB/256GB model, while the 12GB/512GB variant is priced at INR 99,999 ($1,090).
During the early bird offer from March 13 to March 17, buyers can purchase the 512GB model at the same price as the 256GB variant.
The Xiaomi 17 is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC but features a smaller 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. It packs a 6,330mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The rear camera system includes three 50MP sensors: a primary camera, a telephoto lens, and an ultrawide unit. It also features a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus and carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
