Acer has announced the Aspire G 3D 16, a 16-inch Windows 11 laptop that displays compatible content in 3D without glasses. The company unveiled it at the next@Acer press conference during IFA 2026 in Berlin on September 2.

The laptop uses Acer’s SpatialLabs display system. Two eye-tracking cameras help the screen adjust the view for the user, while the preloaded SpatialLabs 3D Hub handles compatible 3D viewing and conversion from standard two-dimensional material.

Acer says the screen can convert photos, videos and other 2D content into a more dimensional presentation. Supported games can also show extra depth. The company does not describe every application as compatible, so the experience depends on the software and content.

In regular two-dimensional mode, the IPS panel has a 3,840 by 2,400 resolution. Acer lists a 16:10 aspect ratio, 100 percent DCI-P3 color coverage and a 120 Hz refresh rate. In 3D mode, the published specification lists a 1,920 by 2,400 resolution.

The Aspire G 3D 16 uses AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and Radeon 8060S graphics. Acer lists up to 126 platform TOPS and up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory. Storage can reach 2 TB through an M.2 solid-state drive.

Tablet News reported that the eye-tracking system uses an infrared camera and that the laptop’s 3D features are designed for games, photos and video. That coverage also placed the new model alongside Acer’s earlier SpatialLabs laptops, while keeping the focus on the new 16-inch form factor.

Acer has not announced a release date or a starting price for the Aspire G 3D 16. The company says availability will be announced later. Regional specifications and pricing may differ when the laptop reaches stores.
