Acer has announced the Iconia X14, a 14-inch OLED Android tablet that keeps the company’s kickstand design while adding Android 16 and two USB-C ports. The tablet was shown at Acer’s next@acer event in Berlin on September 2 during IFA 2026.

The X14 has a 1,920 by 1,200 OLED screen. Android Authority reported that the panel can reach up to 400 nits, while the larger Iconia X16 is rated for a lower maximum brightness. Both tablets use the same resolution and display technology.

Acer pairs the X14 with a MediaTek Helio G80 system-on-chip, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A microSD slot provides additional storage. The hardware list makes the X14 a display-focused tablet rather than a high-performance replacement for a laptop.

The two USB-C ports do not serve identical roles. One is dedicated to video input, and the other supports charging and data. Acer also includes screen-casting support, so the tablet can work with another display for schoolwork, movies, sports or games.

The X14 has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It uses four stereo speakers and an 8,000mAh battery. Acer says the tablet can run for up to 10 hours on a full charge, although actual runtime will depend on settings and workload.

A tripod-style kickstand is part of the tablet. Acer plans to sell an optional stylus and attachable keyboard for users who want handwriting input or a more traditional typing setup. The X14 is offered in a Matte Black metal chassis.

Acer plans to release the Iconia X14 in North America and EMEA during the fourth quarter of 2026. The company has not published a price. Android Authority reported that the U.S. window is expected between October and December.

The X14 gives Acer a smaller OLED option than the new 16-inch model while keeping the same processor and core connectivity approach. Buyers will need to compare the screen size, brightness and final price when Acer publishes its regional launch details.
