Everthine is showing the Everthine A1 AI companion, a desktop device with a three-dimensional character on a curved display, at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The company describes it as a device that combines a visual avatar with voice interaction, memory and room awareness. The product remains a company demonstration rather than a widely available retail launch.

The hardware uses an 8.01-inch curved OLED screen. Everthine says the display presents the character in a 3D style, while a touch surface and voice input provide the main ways to interact. Six microphones are included for voice pickup and source localization.

Front and rear cameras give the device a view of its surroundings. The company says the cameras can support face and pet recognition. Those are sensitive functions, so the company’s privacy statements matter as much as the character design when customers assess the product.

Everthine says A1 can keep selected details across conversations through a long-term memory system. That could let the companion recall a person, a previous discussion or a familiar pet. The claim describes the intended software behavior, not a guarantee that every memory will be correct or permanent.

The device is also designed to change its appearance and respond to a user’s interaction. A separate mobile app is planned for iOS and Android, with text, voice and video interaction. The company says a linked account can carry the same character between the physical device and the app.

Hardware controls include a physical camera shutter and a microphone switch. Everthine says conversations are encrypted in transit and storage, and that conversation data will not be used to train its AI models. Users are also expected to be able to delete memories, characters and account data.

Those protections will need to be checked in the final product and its terms of service. A camera and microphone in a living space create a different privacy question from an AI app used occasionally on a phone. Clear controls and visible recording indicators will be important for everyday use.

Everthine says software and hardware releases are planned during 2026, but final pricing and launch timing are still pending. The company’s product page currently lists the EverThine AI Companion at $800, although it does not establish the final A1 market configuration or regional availability.

The A1 is therefore best understood as an early look at a screen-based AI companion. Its appeal rests on the mix of a persistent character, voice input and memory. Buyers should wait for final specifications, privacy documentation and independent testing before treating the IFA demonstration as a finished product.
