As of Thursday afternoon, Border 2 earned around ₹2.7 crore India nett on its seventh day across all languages. With evening shows still underway, the final tally for the day was expected to increase. Reports indicated that the film performed best in the Chennai region on Thursday morning, registering 18 per cent occupancy. Morning shows on the sixth day saw around a 5 per cent drop, while afternoon occupancy was also lower than Tuesday levels.
