Three songs have already dropped: “Rock Music,” “SS26,” and “Wink Wink.” The album features one guest appearance—horror director David Cronenberg on the closing track “No One Lasts Forever.” The cover image displays black-and-white photos of John Cale, Marc Jacobs, and Martin Scorsese, representing each element of the title.
The Sound
This is not the Charli xcx that dominated TikTok. Music, Fashion, Film strips away the production gloss and leans into lo-fi experimentation. Collaborators include longtime producer A.G. Cook, but the emphasis shifts from club energy to textural depth and lyrical directness.
She worked with Yves Tumor, Jon Hopkins, and others known for boundary-pushing work. The album feels more like art installation than pop product.
