Google Pixel 11 Leak Points to Subtle Design Changes and Focused Hardware Upgrades

Fresh details surrounding the upcoming Google Pixel 11 have surfaced through a series of CAD-based renders, offering one of the clearest early looks at what appears to be a careful, incremental update rather than a dramatic shift in direction.

The images, shared by multiple outlets, suggest Google is holding on to a design language that has now become familiar across recent Pixel devices. The flat-sided frame remains, as does the full-width camera bar that continues to define the phone’s rear profile. At a glance, the changes are restrained, though closer inspection hints at refinements shaped by feedback from the previous model.

The most noticeable adjustment appears on the front. Bezels around the 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display are said to be slimmer than before, a move that addresses one of the more consistent criticisms of the Pixel 10. The overall footprint, however, stays largely unchanged, with reported dimensions nearly identical, aside from a slight reduction in thickness.

Around the back, the camera bar is shown in a darker finish that contrasts more sharply with the rest of the body. While the colours in these early renders are unlikely to reflect final retail options, the visual direction suggests Google may be looking to sharpen the device’s identity without altering its core layout.

Internally, the changes appear more significant. The Pixel 11 is expected to introduce Google’s next-generation Tensor G6 processor, described as a seven-core chip continuing the company’s emphasis on AI-led performance. Rather than competing directly on raw processing benchmarks, the focus remains on efficiency and machine learning capabilities integrated into everyday use.

One notable shift lies in connectivity. Reports indicate Google may move away from Samsung’s modem in favour of a MediaTek M90 unit, a change that could address long-standing concerns around signal reliability and power efficiency. The device is also expected to ship with 12GB of RAM, alongside a base storage option of 128GB.

Battery capacity is tipped to reach 5,000mAh, which, combined with the adaptive refresh rate of the LTPO display and the updated chipset, could translate into more consistent all-day performance. Pricing, at least in early estimates, appears steady, with a starting point around 799 dollars and corresponding regional adjustments expected.

As with previous Pixel cycles, the device is likely to debut alongside the latest version of Android, in this case Android 17. Timing also appears familiar, with an August 2026 unveiling widely anticipated, followed by availability later in the same month.
