Honor has begun reshaping its product narrative with the introduction of the Honor 600 series, while quietly signalling a broader shift in how it positions its N-series devices. The company has already confirmed two models under the new lineup, the Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro, and early access to a review unit offers a closer look at what it is trying to achieve with this release.

Alongside the 600 series announcement, Honorâs recent teasers have pointed to an upcoming N-series phone that will move away from its traditional midrange identity. The company now describes that line as a flagship-tier offering, with mention of a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, though specific details remain undisclosed for now.
The Honor 600 Pro, in its current form, leans heavily on visual appeal. The review sample features a bright, almost neon orange finish, paired with metallic accents along the frame. The design choice is hard to miss and appears deliberate, aimed at standing out in a market where many devices tend to blend into similar shades.
The rear camera layout draws immediate comparison to recent design trends seen elsewhere, with a raised rectangular module. Instead of integrating the housing into the body, Honor has used a transparent polycarbonate layer that sits above the camera array, offering both protection and a distinct layered look.
Camera hardware is positioned as a central feature. Honor claims the device carries a 200MP âSuper Sensing Cameraâ with a CIPA-rated 6.5 image stabilisation system. The company also highlights its AI Super Zoom 2.0 capability, promising up to 120x digital zoom, alongside software enhancements such as its Night Engine algorithm and an updated AI Color Engine aimed at improving colour accuracy.
Beyond imaging, the device introduces a construction method Honor calls âCold-Carving,â resulting in a back panel that measures just 0.5mm thick. The company says this process improves structural rigidity, increasing bend resistance compared to earlier designs.
Physical controls include a dedicated AI shortcut button on the right side, placed near the standard power and volume keys. The rest of the frame remains relatively conventional, with a USB-C port, SIM tray, and speaker grille at the base.
On the front, the phone features notably slim bezels, measured at 0.85mm, although key display specifications have yet to be detailed.
The retail package appears more complete than what has become typical in recent years. It includes a fast charger, USB-C cable, protective TPU case, and SIM eject tool.
