Weibo leaker Fixed Focus Digital wrote in a post that “rumors are circulating” about an iPhone 17 price increase landing this week. The leaker did not cite a specific source, though the account has a track record of being well connected inside Apple’s supply chain.
Apple raised prices on several products, including Mac and iPad models, earlier this summer. The iPhone lineup was notably left out of that round of increases at the time.
Most analysts had expected any iPhone price changes to arrive alongside the iPhone 18 Pro launch in September, when new models typically reset the lineup’s pricing structure. This rumor suggests Apple may not wait that long for the iPhone 17, which will keep selling through the rest of the year as a lower-tier option.
