According to leaked component images and supply chain reports cited by MacRumors, GSMArena and Yahoo Tech, the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to ship in a new Dark Cherry color alongside returning Light Blue, Dark Gray and Silver options, with no black model in the lineup this year. A leaked SIM tray reportedly offered the clearest look yet at the rumored Dark Cherry finish.

On the camera side, rumors point to a redesigned lens system with a true variable aperture, allowing the camera to physically adjust its opening to control how much light reaches the sensor, a feature borrowed from professional photography equipment rather than typical smartphone cameras. Display leaks suggest Apple plans to shrink the Dynamic Island cutout by roughly 35 percent compared with the iPhone 17, alongside a new A20 chip and LTPO+ display technology aimed at improving battery efficiency.

Battery leaks point to a capacity roughly 10 percent larger than the current generation. Modem sourcing is also reportedly splitting by region, with Apple’s own C2 modem limited to international models while a bill of materials for the US variant lists Qualcomm components instead.

Pricing leaks have drawn particular attention, with some reports suggesting a roughly $300 increase over the current iPhone 17 Pro, which would push the starting price to around $1,399. Apple has not commented on any pricing changes, and leaked cost figures at this stage of a product cycle frequently shift before launch.
