The Levitate Music Festival takes over Marshfield Fairgrounds in Massachusetts this weekend. Alanis Morissette headlines Saturday. CAAMP leads Sunday. Two days, grassroots energy, reggae and roots on the main stage.

This isn’t a major festival circuit stop. It’s a community event rooted in surf culture. The vibe is welcoming. The lineup is solid. People come back year after year.
Saturday July 18
Alanis Morissette opens the festival. Ziggy Marley follows. Then Sammy Rae & The Friends, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Larkin Poe, and The Movement. Late night has Bebe Stockwell and Jammy Buffet.
Morissette is a draw. Her 90s output still resonates. Seeing her live at a mid-size festival is rare. Fans show up for her.
Sunday July 19
CAAMP is the headliner. Royel Otis, The Elovaters, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Pepper, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Hans Williams, and Surfer Girl round out the day.
The festival will add more acts to both days. Lineups expand right up to gates open.
Why It Matters
Grassroots festivals are disappearing. Major companies buy them up and corporatize them. Levitate stays independent. The sound is warm. The community is real. No brand activations, no corporate tents.
A festival this size is exactly big enough to sound good and small enough to feel human.
