Netflix has started production in Prague on a new series set in the world of Robert Langdon. Netflix Tudum reported the update on September 4 and said the currently untitled show is based on Dan Brown’s 2025 novel, The Secret of Secrets. Morgan Spector will play Langdon and Rebecca Hall will play Katherine Solomon.

The story follows Langdon, a Harvard symbologist, as he searches for a missing scientist and a manuscript tied to discoveries about the human mind. Netflix describes the adaptation as a mystery that blends science, history and ancient symbols. The series is not a direct announcement of a release date.

Prague is more than a production backdrop in the early report. Netflix has begun filming there, and The Prague Reporter says the city is also part of the story’s setting. The location gives the new adaptation a visual identity of its own while connecting it to the international movement that has defined Brown’s Langdon fiction.

The casting gives the project a different starting point from the earlier screen versions. Tom Hanks played Langdon in three feature films, while Ashley Zukerman led the television series The Lost Symbol. Spector now takes the role in a series built around a newer book and a new production team.
