Nothing launched the Phone 4b in India on July 7, 2026, entering the mid-range segment with a 6,000mAh battery and the brand’s distinctive Glyph notification light system. The phone is available starting at Rs 29,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant, with a special Royal Challengers Bengaluru edition celebrating the IPL team’s back-to-back championship wins.
Glyph Bar Gets Brighter
The Phone 4b’s Glyph Bar features 45 mini-LEDs across five square sections—40 percent brighter than previous implementations. The design moves Glyph from a novelty to a practical notification system. Users can customize which apps trigger which LED patterns, making the phone’s back surface a communication interface.
The unibody design borrowed from the Phone 4a Pro combines seamless construction with durability. Nothing positioned itself as valuing industrial design over specification inflation, a refreshing stance in a market obsessed with CPU benchmarks.
Display and Performance
The 6.77-inch Super AMOLED display reaches 2,000 nits peak brightness and supports 120Hz adaptive refresh. The 1,000 Hz touch sampling rate matches gaming-focused phones. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 is modest but sufficient for everyday tasks and social apps.
Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16 promises three years of OS updates and six years of security patches. The software experience differentiates Nothing more than raw performance.
Camera and Availability
The 50MP main camera with optical and electronic image stabilization handles low-light photography. The 8MP ultrawide covers 119.5 degrees. For a budget phone, the camera is capable without being exceptional.
The RCB Edition pairs Glyph patterns branded with the cricket team’s logo and colors. Limited editions historically drive sales for Nothing, and this one targets the substantial cricket-fan demographic in India.
The Nothing Phone 4b is available through Flipkart and retail partners including Croma and Vijay Sales starting July 14, 2026.
