Oppo has introduced its latest top-end smartphone, the Find X9 Ultra, in China, positioning it as its most advanced device to date with a strong emphasis on imaging. Alongside it, the company also unveiled the more compact Find X9s Pro, which brings a similar camera-focused approach in a smaller form.

The Find X9 Ultra arrives with a quad-camera system that reflects Oppoâs continued push in mobile photography. It combines a 200-megapixel primary sensor with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a second 200-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-telephoto unit. The setup supports up to 10x optical zoom, extends to 20x optical quality zoom, and reaches 120x digitally.
Oppo has retained its collaboration with Hasselblad for colour tuning, alongside features such as XPAN mode and enhanced video tools. The device supports 8K video recording and 4K capture at 120 frames per second with Dolby Vision, indicating a clear focus on both still photography and high-end video use.
On the front, the phone features a 6.82-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and as much as 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Battery capacity stands at 7,050mAh, supported by 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device ships with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
Oppo is also offering the Find X9 Ultra with a Hasselblad Earth Explorer Kit, which includes a teleconverter capable of extending optical reach further. In China, the base variant is priced at CNY 7,499.
The company has confirmed plans to bring the Find X9 Ultra to India, where it is expected to compete in the ultra-premium segment, including against devices such as the Vivo X300 Ultra.
Alongside the flagship, Oppo introduced the Find X9s Pro, a more compact device built around a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Despite its smaller size, it carries a dual 200-megapixel camera system, including a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
The Find X9s Pro also supports 8K video recording and includes multiple Hasselblad-tuned shooting modes. It is powered by a 7,025mAh battery with 80W wired charging support. The device starts at CNY 5,299 in China and is expected to remain exclusive to that market.
For India, Oppo is instead preparing to launch the Find X9s alongside the Ultra, leaving the Pro variant out of its initial plans.

The two launches underline Oppoâs current strategy, which leans heavily on camera innovation across both large and compact devices, while maintaining flagship-level hardware. For now, the focus remains on how these devices will be received outside China, particularly in markets where competition in the premium segment continues to intensify.
