PlayStation Plus reveals August 2026 monthly games lineup

By Rithe RoseAugust 5, 20262 Mins Read

Sony has rolled out its PlayStation Plus monthly games for August 2026, headlined by Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition alongside two smaller titles aimed at co-op and horror fans.

The lineup includes Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition for both PS5 and PS4, which bundles the base game together with the Bloody Ties downloadable content. Also included is Big Walk, a cooperative open-world adventure for PS5 that supports up to 12 players online, and Signalis, an isometric sci-fi survival horror title for PS4.

All three games became available to PlayStation Plus subscribers starting Tuesday, August 4, and will remain claimable through August 31 before rotating out of the monthly lineup.

Big Walk stands out as a rare same-day addition to the PlayStation Plus roster, since the cooperative title launched on the same day it joined the service rather than arriving as a back-catalog game months or years after release.

Signalis has built a reputation since its original 2022 launch as one of the stronger indie entries in the survival horror genre, drawing comparisons to classic Resident Evil games for its tone, art direction and tightly designed encounters. Its inclusion gives PS Plus subscribers access to a title that had largely flown under the radar outside a dedicated fan base.

Subscribers are also getting additional value this month beyond the core three games. The Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls PlayStation Plus Pack becomes available starting August 6, adding bonus content tied to the fighting game to members’ accounts.

The August selections continue a pattern Sony has followed through 2026, pairing one recognizable AA or AAA title with smaller independent games each month, a mix designed to appeal to both mainstream subscribers and players looking for niche genre picks they might otherwise have missed.

Sony typically reveals the following month’s PlayStation Plus lineup in the final week of the prior month, with the games rotating out and being replaced entirely once the claim window closes at the end of August.
