Tata Curvv EV gets discounts up to Rs 3.35 lakh in August

By Rithe RoseAugust 5, 20262 Mins Read

Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 3.35 lakh on the Curvv EV this August, one of the steepest incentive packages the automaker has rolled out on the electric SUV coupe since its launch.

The offer combines a cash discount of Rs 3 lakh with a scrappage incentive of Rs 35,000 for buyers trading in an older vehicle under India’s vehicle scrappage policy. The combined benefit is valid on select variants through Aug. 31, 2026, giving shoppers a limited window to claim the full amount.

Buyers of the Creative trim get a smaller but still substantial cut, with a Rs 2.50 lakh cash discount that adds up to Rs 2.85 lakh in total benefits once the scrappage incentive is factored in.

Alongside the discounts, Tata has also revised the Curvv EV’s SeriesX lineup. The range now includes two variants, the Accomplished X 55 and the Empowered X 55, the latter offered in a Dark edition. Both come exclusively with the larger 55 kWh battery pack, after the company discontinued the smaller 45 kWh option that had previously been available on entry-level trims.

Dropping the smaller battery option narrows the SeriesX range but standardizes range and performance across the lineup, a move Tata has made on other models as it consolidates variants to simplify manufacturing and inventory.

The discounts arrive as Tata Motors and other Indian automakers push harder to move electric vehicle inventory ahead of the festive season, with the Curvv EV competing against rivals such as the Mahindra BE 6 and Hyundai Creta Electric in India’s fast-growing electric SUV segment.

Tata launched the Curvv EV as a coupe-styled electric SUV aimed at buyers wanting a more design-forward alternative to boxier electric SUVs, building on the commercial success of the brand’s earlier Nexon EV and Punch EV electric models. The August offers apply at authorized Tata dealerships across India.
