Tecno has introduced three new smartphones in Bangladesh, led by the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G, alongside the standard Camon 50 and the Pova Curve 2 5G. The company confirmed the launch for the local market within the last day, adding fresh options to the competitive mid- to upper-mid range segment.

The Camon 50 Ultra 5G stands at the top of the new lineup. It features a 50-megapixel main camera built around Sonyâs LYT-700C sensor with optical image stabilization. The rear setup also includes a 50-megapixel 3x optical telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera.
Tecno says the device supports AI 60x SuperZoom and a feature branded as Super-Zoom FlashSnap. The phone also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance, with the company highlighting underwater photography capability as part of its durability focus.
On the front, the Camon 50 Ultra 5G uses a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The high refresh panel is positioned for smoother scrolling and video playback, including use under bright outdoor conditions.
Powering the device is a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. The handset is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging, targeting users who rely on extended daily usage.
The standard Camon 50 brings similar design cues but at a lower tier. It carries the same 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700C main sensor, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
Its display measures 6.78 inches with a 144Hz refresh rate and includes ProXDR eye-care technology. The device runs on the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor and matches the Ultra model with a 6,500mAh battery and 45W charging support.
Both Camon 50 variants offer IP68 and IP69 protection. Tecno states that users will receive up to three major Android upgrades along with five years of security updates.
The third device, the Pova Curve 2 5G, shifts focus toward performance and endurance. It comes with a 7.42mm thin body despite housing an 8,000mAh battery, also supported by 45W fast charging.
The Pova Curve 2 5G features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Tecno lists peak brightness at up to 4,500 nits and 2,304Hz PWM dimming for improved eye comfort.
It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G processor and includes a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel front camera. The device carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance and is aimed at users who prioritize long battery life and gaming performance.
