Vivo appears to be preparing a slightly different pitch for the Indian market as it expands the reach of the Vivo X300 FE, a device it introduced quietly in Russia last month. With a wider rollout expected in May, fresh details suggest the company may bundleâor at least offerâan additional camera-focused accessory tailored for photography enthusiasts.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, the India-bound version of the Vivo X300 FE could support a 200mm ZEISS Telephoto Extender Kit. The accessory is described as a paid add-on that attaches through a dedicated case rather than being built into the phone itself. Early information indicates it can deliver a 2.35x extended zoom, reaching up to a 200mm optical equivalent and stretching to a claimed maximum focal length of 1600mm.
An image shared by PassionateGeekz, which appears consistent with official product renders, shows the accessory mounted alongside a pink variant of the handset. While the company has not publicly confirmed the accessory, the visual suggests a compact, lens-style attachment designed to extend the phoneâs native camera capabilities.
Beyond the accessory, the core specifications of the Vivo X300 FE remain consistent with the version already announced. The device runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with configurations going up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
The phone features a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2640 by 1216 pixels. It ships with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, and Vivo has committed to five years of Android updates along with seven years of security support, placing it among the longer-supported devices in its category.
Camera hardware includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main sensor, supported by a 50-megapixel telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, a 50-megapixel sensor handles selfies and video calls.
Battery capacity stands at 6,500mAh, with support for 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. In Russia, the 12GB and 256GB variant is priced at RUB 60,124, roughly equivalent to $770.
For India, the device is also expected to arrive in an additional green colour option, alongside Moonlight White, Cool Purple, and Graphite Black. With the possible introduction of a dedicated telephoto accessory, Vivoâs strategy appears to be leaning into modular photography without altering the core hardware.

Whether the accessory remains a niche add-on or becomes a central selling point may depend on pricing and availability, details that remain undisclosed as the India launch approaches.
