Xbox Game Pass Confirms 10 New Games Through August 18

Xbox has confirmed the next wave of games joining Game Pass this month. Ten titles are set to arrive between August 6 and August 18 across the Premium and Ultimate tiers.

PowerWash Simulator, Grounded 2, Ball x Pit, Date Everything, Bounty Star, Monsters Are Coming, Cricket 26, Mio: Memories in Orbit and Egging On are among the additions, according to reporting from Pure Xbox and GameRant. Sandustry will also arrive as a game preview, giving subscribers access before its full release.

Two titles have already landed. Heretic + Hexen is now available to Game Pass Premium members. So is Beast of Reincarnation, which launched as a day one release for Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers earlier this month.

Ultimate and PC Game Pass members also gained early access to the multiplayer beta for Gears of War: E-Day, which ran from August 6 through August 10. The beta gave players a first look at multiplayer modes ahead of the prequel’s eventual full release.

Separately, EA Play members with Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass can now claim a ten hour trial of Madden 27, part of the ongoing EA Play inclusion in Microsoft‘s subscription tiers. Trial hours count toward total playtime, and progress carries over if a player buys the full game later.

Not every addition is permanent. Four titles are scheduled to leave the service on August 15, including Menace, Atlas Fallen Cloud, Aliens: Firestream Elite and Firewatch. That gives subscribers a short window to finish those games before they roll off.

Microsoft has also flagged more additions for the back half of August, including Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, though it has not confirmed exact dates for titles beyond the current window. Game Pass sits at the center of Microsoft’s push to keep subscribers inside its ecosystem across console, PC and cloud streaming, with new titles landing on the service the same day they launch at retail in most cases.
