Xiaomi could bring back its T-series smartphones to India later this month, according to fresh leaks surrounding the company’s upcoming premium lineup. The reported move would mark the first return of the series to the Indian market since the launch of the Xiaomi 11T Pro.

Tipster Yogesh Brar has claimed that Xiaomi is preparing to introduce the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro globally in the final week of May. While the company has not officially confirmed the devices or their launch schedule, reports suggest both phones may debut on May 28.

The discussion around the lineup has also revived interest in another rumoured device, the Xiaomi 17 Max, which is said to be under consideration for multiple markets, including India. At this stage, there is no official confirmation on regional availability.

Early specifications linked to the Xiaomi 17T point to a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset and may include a 6,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.

Camera hardware appears to remain a major focus. Leaks suggest the Xiaomi 17T could feature a Leica-branded rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by a 50-megapixel telephoto lens and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro is tipped to arrive with a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display and a faster 144Hz refresh rate. Reports also indicate that the device may use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor alongside 100W wired charging support and a larger battery than the standard model.

Separate leaks around the Xiaomi 17 Max suggest the device may be positioned around battery endurance and flagship imaging features. The handset is rumoured to include a 6.9-inch LTPO display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and an 8,000mAh battery. Charging support could reportedly include 100W wired and 50W wireless speeds.

The camera setup on the Xiaomi 17 Max may feature a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP-series sensor, paired with 50-megapixel ultrawide and 50-megapixel periscope telephoto cameras.

Pricing details remain unofficial. Reports suggest the Xiaomi 17T could launch globally at around EUR 749, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro may be priced near EUR 999. Separate leaks indicate that India pricing for the base Xiaomi 17T variant could start at approximately Rs 74,999.
