Crave’s September slate starts with a Canadiens documentary and new originals

By Beauty NishaSeptember 1, 20262 Mins Read

Crave’s September schedule opens with returning Canadian stories, new series and a long list of licensed movies. The Crave search spike arrives as viewers look for the month’s first releases, including the third season of Rebuild: Inside the Montreal Canadiens. Bell Media has also put new Crave originals on the calendar for later in the month.

Bell Media’s September streaming overview lists the Crave Original Rebuild: Inside the Montreal Canadiens among the month’s main additions. MobileSyrup reported on August 31 that the third season starts September 1 and follows the team through a new stage of its rebuild. The series is built around the club’s players, staff and the pressure that comes with a demanding fan base.

The schedule then widens beyond hockey. MobileSyrup lists The Paper, Rental Family, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and other films for September 4. Crave’s calendar also includes The Little Sister, Colours of Time, Conan O’Brien Must Go and the third season of Project Runway USA at later dates. The service’s exact availability can vary by subscription tier and Canadian rights window.

Bell’s broader 2026–27 slate adds more context. The company says Crave-exclusive premieres include American Hostage, Up to No Good, Crystal Lake and The Good Daughter. It also lists returning series, live events and next-day programming from CTV. That means the service is presenting itself as a mix of originals, network catch-up viewing, films and special events instead of a platform built around one genre.

One of the month’s more distinct additions is Slo Pitch, a Canadian baseball comedy series scheduled for September 25. Bell has described the show as a Crave Original produced by Shaftesbury with Boss & Co and PAGEBOY Productions. Blue Heron is also listed for September 25, giving the month a Canadian film release alongside the new comedy.

Viewers should check the official Bell Media calendar before planning a watchlist because dates can move and some titles carry Canadian or Starz labels. The most immediate confirmed item is the return of Rebuild, while September 20 brings the planned premieres of American Hostage and Youth. The trend around Crave reflects a crowded schedule rather than a single surprise release. Bell’s own slate and the current independent schedule provide a clearer guide than social posts or incomplete lists.
