FWCMS Recruitment Agency List Leaves Malaysia Process Unclear

By Abul KalamAugust 24, 20262 Mins Read

The fwcms recruitment agency search follows the publication of a list of 25 Bangladeshi agencies on Malaysia’s Foreign Workers Centralised Management System. The list has renewed attention on the planned reopening of Malaysia’s labour market to Bangladeshi workers, but current reports say the operating process has not been explained.

bdnews24 reported that FWCMS published the names of 25 agencies approved to recruit workers from Bangladesh. The list includes agencies such as Bangladesh One Overseas, Bengal Human Resources Development, General Trading Company and other licensed recruiters. The report said it was not yet clear how recruitment would be processed or when workers would begin travelling.

The Daily Star reported that the names appeared under FWCMS’s Registered Recruitment Agencies section. It said the platform did not state when the Bangladesh list was uploaded or explain how the agencies would operate under the revised arrangement. The report also said the list did not clarify whether recruitment would be restricted to those 25 agencies.

The uncertainty matters because Bangladesh’s expatriates’ welfare ministry had earlier instructed recruiting agencies not to sign contracts, collect passports, arrange medical examinations or take payments until the government formally announces the process. The ministry warned that recruitment activity before that announcement would be unauthorised.

Malaysia suspended recruitment of Bangladeshi workers in June 2024 after allegations involving excessive migration costs, workers arriving without jobs and other exploitation concerns. The current reports also recall criticism of earlier limited-agent arrangements and the need for a more transparent system.

For people searching fwcms recruitment agency information, the confirmed development is the publication of a 25-agency list, not the opening of a completed application or payment process. Workers and recruiters should wait for the formal government instructions and avoid treating the FWCMS listing alone as permission to collect money or begin deployment.
