Infinix Note 60 Pro Hands-On Shows New Design, 144Hz AMOLED and 90W Charging

By Yousuf ParvezFebruary 20, 20264 Mins Read

The Infinix Note 60 Pro has surfaced in an early hands-on and unboxing ahead of its expected February release. The device arrives with a premium metal-and-glass build, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, and a large 6,500mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging.

The phone is drawing attention for its familiar flagship-style design and a feature set that pushes into upper midrange territory. Early footage shows a full retail bundle and highlights several hardware additions not seen on previous Note models.

The unboxing confirms that Infinix is shipping the Note 60 Pro with a 90W fast charger, USB cable, wired USB earbuds, and a MagSafe-style protective case. This is a more complete package than many devices in this price segment.

The phone uses a 6.78 inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2304Hz PWM dimming, and peak brightness reaching up to 4,500 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and supports Ultra HDR output.

Inside, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor is paired with 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Infinix includes a vapor chamber cooling system designed to sustain high frame rates in gaming sessions, with claims of up to 120fps in supported titles.

The battery capacity reaches 6,500mAh in most markets, with some regions receiving a 6,000mAh variant. Charging supports 90W wired, 30W wireless, and both wired and wireless reverse charging. A bypass charging mode allows power to go directly to the system during gaming to reduce heat and battery wear.

Infinix is also introducing a battery self-healing system that combines charging control and battery chemistry tuning to slow long-term degradation.

On the hardware side, the device includes a custom programmable side button, a heart rate and SpO2 sensor integrated into the frame, and an Active Matrix Display on the rear camera module that lights up with animations and notifications.

Infinix Note 60 Pro design, camera and software experience

The phone uses a flat aluminum frame with a glass front and aluminum back. It weighs 201.7 grams and measures 7.4mm in thickness. The design has drawn comparisons to recent premium flagship models, with a large camera island and polished finish.

The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Video recording supports 4K at 30fps on both rear and front cameras.

On the software side, the Note 60 Pro runs Android 16 with XOS 16. Infinix promises three major Android upgrades and five years of security updates, placing it in line with longer support policies now expected in the segment.

The phone also includes stereo speakers tuned by JBL, Hi-Res audio certification, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an infrared blaster.

Early hands-on impressions describe the device as solid but slightly slippery in hand due to the smooth metal and glass finish. The Halo light notification system and rear animation display add visual customization options that are uncommon in this category.

The Infinix Note 60 Pro is positioning itself as a feature-rich midrange phone with flagship-style design, high refresh display, and fast charging. Its full retail bundle and extended software support are likely to be key selling points when it reaches stores.
