Jennifer Aniston met former Friends co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow for dinner in West Hollywood on Aug. 25, E! News reported. Aniston’s boyfriend, Jim Curtis, joined the group, which also included Jason Bateman and Will Arnett. The outing has renewed interest in the sitcom cast, but the reports describe a private dinner rather than a newly announced television reunion.
E! News said the group was seen leaving the Sunset Tower Hotel after the gathering. The outlet reported that the friends hugged goodbye before leaving in separate cars. A Spanish-language report from La Opinión also described the dinner and identified Cox and Kudrow as the two former co-stars seen with Aniston.
Aniston played Rachel Green on Friends, which ran from 1994 to 2004. Cox played Monica Geller and Kudrow played Phoebe Buffay. Their latest dinner was not presented by either source as a production meeting, filming announcement or confirmation of a new Friends special.
The evening also included two actors connected with Aniston outside the sitcom. E! News identified Bateman and Arnett as co-hosts of the SmartLess podcast. Their presence helps explain why the photograph and dinner drew interest beyond the three Friends performers, although the reports did not give a detailed account of what the group discussed.
The cast has appeared together in other settings since the series ended, including the 2021 Friends: The Reunion special. That programme was a separate television production and included the six principal cast members. The current reports do not say that a second special is being planned or that all six actors were present at the West Hollywood dinner.
The latest outing is therefore best described as a social meeting involving three of the show’s principal stars. E! News also reported that Aniston brought Curtis into an established circle of friends. Neither report identified a formal announcement from Warner Bros., a streaming service or the original network about a new Friends project.
