The National Highways Authority of India has expanded a digital local FASTag pass priced at ₹350 a month to 121 toll plazas, according to reports based on the highway authority’s latest rollout. The pass is intended for eligible local, non-commercial vehicle users rather than every highway traveller.

Under the reported arrangement, residents living within 20 kilometres of a participating toll plaza can apply for unlimited crossings at that specific plaza during the monthly validity period. Eligibility is tied to the local area and the selected plaza, so the pass is not a nationwide toll-free permit.
Applications and verification are described through the Rajmargyatra system, with vehicle and residence details checked through services including DigiLocker or VAHAN. Applicants should use the official process and confirm that their local plaza appears in the participating list before paying.
The NHAI toll information system separately lists monthly local passes for individual plazas. One official plaza record shows a ₹350 monthly pass for local non-commercial vehicles within a 20-kilometre radius, supporting the reported price and local-use structure.
The ₹350 product should not be confused with the separate annual FASTag pass, which has a different price, eligibility and validity period. The local monthly pass applies to a specific participating plaza and is designed around repeated local trips.
Before applying, vehicle owners should check the current plaza list, documentary requirements and activation status on the official NHAI or Rajmargyatra channels. The reported benefit is unlimited use at an eligible plaza during the valid month, not unlimited travel on all national highways.
