HoYoverse has revealed Nodus Fall, a multiplayer-focused fantasy action game shown during the Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live event. The project moves the studio into a darker realistic-fantasy setting and centres on cooperative play against large enemies and a world whose divine order has collapsed. The reveal places Nodus Fall among the studio’s most closely watched new projects.

In the official announcement distributed by Cognosphere, players take the role of “Weavers” in a setting where divine authority has been lost. The stated premise follows those characters as they confront threats and try to rebuild order. HoYoverse opened pre-registration through the game’s official website after the reveal.
MeriStation reported that the title’s cooperative action brings comparisons with monster-hunting games, while also noting that no release date had been announced at the time of its report. That distinction matters because the reveal establishes the game and its core direction but does not yet provide a launch timetable. HoYoverse has not published a complete platform list or a final monetisation plan in the announcement material used for this report. More details are expected as development information and pre-registration updates are released.
