ZOOMBANGLA DESK: The government today imposed restriction on going outside the homes of the country’s people after 6 pm aiming to contain the spread of coronavirus, BSS reports.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard today.

According to the notification if anybody violating the government’s restrictions goes outside of his or her home after 6 pm from today, legal action will be taken against the person.

People must stay at their respective homes to remain safe from coronavirus and help prevent transmission of the lethal virus, the gazette said, requesting them not to go outside of their homes without any emergency.

The services regarding electricity, water, gas, telephone and internet will remain out of the purview of this directive.

Movement of people from one place to another will be restricted, but field level public officials and employees must stay at their respective duty stations, the notification said.
