Nothing launched the Phone 4b on July 7, 2026 at 12 PM German time, positioning it as an entry-level alternative below the 4a series. The device carries forward design DNA from the 4a Pro—unibody chassis with the distinctive Glyph Bar system relocated to the top-right corner of the phone.

Pricing undercuts the 4a significantly. Indian leaks suggested ₹25,000-₹30,000 (roughly $265-$320 USD), making it Nothing’s most accessible device yet. The company retired the CMF smartphone line, consolidating its budget offering into the b-series.
Specs and Design
The 4b runs Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 with 8GB RAM and storage up to 256GB. The 6.7-inch AMOLED display supports 120Hz refresh. A dual 50MP rear camera and 16MP front camera handle imaging. Battery sits at 5,400-6,000 mAh—enough for a full day of moderate use.
The Glyph Bar system is simpler than the full back Glyph on the 4a Pro, but still offers notifications, incoming call alerts, and ambient display features without wasting screen real estate.
Market Positioning
Nothing is trying to establish itself as a serious phone maker for cost-conscious users who want design. The 4b targets students, emerging markets, and tech enthusiasts who value software customization and distinct aesthetics over flagship performance.
At this price point, the 4b competes with Motorola, Samsung’s A-series, and regional brands. Its real advantage is software differentiation and the Glyph system novelty.
Nothing Phone 4b is available for purchase starting July 7. Global availability rolling out this month.
