Oppo launched the Reno 16 series in July 2026 across Asia and Europe, bringing a three-phone lineup with MediaTek and Snapdragon processors, up to 200MP cameras, and a new AI-powered Snap Key. The standard Reno 16 arrived in India on July 2.

The Three Models

The Reno 16 Pro 5G features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate, powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super. The standard Reno 16 drops to Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 but keeps the same screen.

The Reno 16 F 5G steps up battery size to 7,000mAh with 80W charging, paired with MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy. All three run ColorOS 16 on Android 16.

New AI Feature

Oppo introduced AI Snap Key for the first time on Reno phones. The customizable side button accesses AI functions without menu navigation. Users can program it to launch their most-used tools—a camera filter, translator, or note-taking app—saving seconds on repetitive tasks.

Camera and Accessories

Cameras max out at 200MP on the Pro model, but all three phones get 50MP ultrawide lenses. Oppo bundled the Reno 16 launch with the Bubble Mag E-Badge, a compact display accessory that attaches magnetically to the back, showing a live rear-camera preview and functioning as a remote shutter from 10 meters away.
