Toxic Box Office Day 4: Yash Film Reaches ₹254.75 Crore Worldwide

By Soniya ChowdhuryAugust 30, 20263 Mins Read

The latest “toxic movie yash box office collection” update puts the film’s worldwide gross at ₹254.75 crore after its fourth day in cinemas, according to figures reported by The Indian Express from trade tracker Sacnilk. The Geetu Mohandas-directed film collected ₹24.50 crore net in India on Saturday across 17,612 shows. Its India gross reached ₹227.50 crore, while the India net total stood at ₹190.45 crore.

The Day 4 number also shows why the film’s first-day result cannot be read as the full theatrical story. The Indian Express reported that Saturday’s India net was 9.9 per cent lower than the ₹27.20 crore reported for Day 3. India Today’s previous report placed the first three India net figures at ₹101.10 crore on Wednesday, ₹37.65 crore on Thursday and ₹26.60 crore on Friday, giving the film ₹165.35 crore net in India by the end of Day 3.

The fourth-day performance was led by the Hindi version in absolute collection. The Indian Express reported Hindi net earnings of ₹15.50 crore at 23 per cent occupancy across 12,822 shows. Kannada contributed ₹6.60 crore at 47 per cent occupancy across 1,341 shows, while Telugu added ₹1.50 crore. Tamil contributed ₹0.75 crore and Malayalam ₹0.15 crore. The language split shows a difference between the market producing the biggest total and the language recording the strongest occupancy.

Overseas business added ₹4 crore on Day 4, taking the reported overseas gross to ₹27.25 crore. The combined number is a trade estimate rather than an audited financial statement issued by the producers. Collection figures can be revised as ticketing data are reconciled, and gross and net figures describe different stages of the theatrical revenue calculation. Readers should therefore keep the India net, India gross and worldwide gross figures separate when comparing reports.

The film opened on August 26 with Yash in a dual role and a cast that includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi. The Indian Express said the film has received a mixed response: some viewers praised Yash’s presence, the visuals and action, while others criticised the writing, pace and length. That response matters because a large opening still has to be followed by sustained attendance across weekdays and later weekend shows.

For the moment, the most defensible reading of the fourth-day update is that Toxic has passed ₹250 crore worldwide on the reported trade figures while its daily India net has moved down from the opening peak. The next checkpoints will be weekday occupancy, language-wise holds and any revised totals from established entertainment desks. Those measures will show whether the film can turn a strong launch into a durable run rather than relying only on its opening-day momentum.
