Recent reports had suggested an early February debut for the vivo iQOO 15 Ultra, and iQOO has now officially confirmed the launch timeline. Alongside this, a new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed most of the key specifications, offering a clearer look at what the brand’s first Ultra phone will bring.

iQOO has confirmed that the vivo iQOO 15 Ultra will be launched on February 4 at 7 pm local time in China. The company is positioning it as the industry’s first “performance Ultra,” clearly targeting power users and mobile gaming enthusiasts.

Official teasers reveal a cyberpunk-inspired design, along with physical shoulder buttons on both sides of the frame to enhance gaming controls. The phone has been showcased in two colour options — 2077 Flowing Orange and 2049 Ice Blue — reinforcing its futuristic visual identity.

iQOO has also confirmed an active cooling fan inside the vivo iQOO 15 Ultra, supported by an advanced thermal setup that includes a large vapour chamber and liquid metal heat transfer materials. This highlights a strong focus on maintaining performance during extended gaming or heavy usage.

As per a Weibo post by Digital Chat Station, the vivo iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.85-inch Samsung 2K LTPO flat display with adaptive refresh rate support. The device is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, along with iQOO’s in-house Q3 supercomputing chip. Memory options may go up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

For photography, the handset is said to include a 32-megapixel front camera and a triple 50-megapixel rear camera setup, featuring a 3x periscope telephoto lens with a CIPA 4.5 rating. Other expected features include a 7,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging, wireless charging, bypass charging, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a dual-axis linear motor, and upgraded stereo speakers. The phone is also expected to run Android 16-based OriginOS 6.

At present, there is no confirmation on whether the vivo iQOO 15 Ultra will be launched outside China.
