Vivo X200T set for India launch with camera-first focus

By Tarek HasanJanuary 21, 20263 Mins Read

Vivo is gearing up to strengthen its premium smartphone lineup with the launch of the vivo x200t in India. Positioned as a balanced flagship, the new device sits between the standard Vivo X200 and the compact Vivo X200 FE, with a clear emphasis on photography and everyday usability. Based on official teasers and leaks, the vivo x200t brings a mix of high-end design, powerful hardware, and advanced camera features.

Vivo X200T India Launch Date and Availability

The vivo x200t will launch in India on January 27 at 12 PM. Vivo is pitching the device as travel-friendly and focused on real-world photography. After the launch, the smartphone will be available through Vivo’s official website, Flipkart, and offline retail stores across the country.

Vivo X200T Design and Display

The vivo x200t is expected to come in Seaside Lilac and Stellar Black colour options. It follows Vivo’s premium design language with a slim profile and refined finish. On the front, the phone features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits. The display is co-developed by Vivo and ZEISS, promising vivid visuals and better outdoor visibility.

Vivo X200T Performance and Software

Powering the vivo x200t is the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor. While not the newest chipset, it is expected to deliver smooth day-to-day performance, reliable multitasking, and capable gaming. The device boots with OriginOS 6, offering a polished interface with AI-driven optimisations and customisation options.

Vivo X200T Camera Features

Camera performance is a major highlight of the vivo x200t. The phone features a 32MP front camera and a triple rear camera setup, all with 50MP sensors tuned by ZEISS. Vivo is promoting features such as 100x HyperZoom, 20x Telephoto Macro, and multi-focal portrait modes ranging from 23mm to 100mm.

Vivo X200T Battery, Charging and Durability

The vivo x200t packs a 6,200mAh battery. It supports 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging, along with bypass charging for extended gaming sessions. The device also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring strong resistance against dust and water.

Vivo X200T Expected Price in India

Vivo has not officially confirmed the pricing of the vivo x200t yet. However, leaks suggest a price of ₹59,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, and ₹69,999 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model. This pricing would place the device in direct competition with offerings from OnePlus and iQOO.

The vivo x200t is shaping up as a well-rounded flagship with a strong focus on photography, a premium display, solid performance, and long battery life. With its India launch set for January 27, the vivo x200t is expected to attract users looking for a camera-centric smartphone in the premium segment.
