ZOOMBANGLA DESK: Considering the socio-economic condition of the country, the government has decided to allow all public transports to operate on the roads from August 19 in compliance with the health rules.

The Cabinet Division issued a notification on Thursday relaxing the restrictions in this regard, saying this order will remain in force until further notice.

According to the notification, all types of public transports on road, rail and river routes must follow the hygiene rules properly.

Community centres, tourism and recreation venues and resorts can operate at half capacity from that time too.

“Wearing masks must be ensured in all cases and health guidelines framed by the Directorate General of Health Services must be followed properly. In case of negligence in compliance of hygiene rules, the concerned authorities will be held responsible and legal actions will be taken against them,” the notification added.
