The early box office journey of *Bhoot Bangla* is beginning to take shape with a mix of encouraging signs and cautious signals. After a brief run of previews, the film saw a noticeable rise in collections on Friday, suggesting initial audience curiosity, though the overall picture remains varied.

The film had started modestly with preview earnings of Rs 3.50 crore on April 16. By Friday, collections climbed sharply to around Rs 12.15 crore across more than 12,000 shows, marking a significant jump. This pushed its opening day India gross to roughly Rs 18.90 crore, with the domestic net standing at Rs 15.75 crore. Worldwide earnings so far have reached about Rs 23.90 crore.
On its second day, which corresponds to the first Saturday, early estimates indicate a slower pace. The film collected approximately Rs 1.03 crore net while running across 3,110 shows. This brings the total India gross to Rs 20.42 crore and the net collection to Rs 17.03 crore, although final figures for the day are still awaited.
The opening trajectory places *Bhoot Bangla* in an interesting position within the recent filmography of its lead actor. While it has managed a stronger start than some titles like *Kesari Chapter 2*, which opened at Rs 7.76 crore, it falls short when compared with films such as *Housefull 5*, which registered around Rs 24 crore on its first day, and *Jolly LLB 3*, which opened slightly higher at Rs 12.5 crore. It is, however, noted as the actorâs highest opener since *Sooryavanshi*, which had collected approximately Rs 26.29 crore on day one.
Within the horror-comedy space, the film is yet to match the scale of recent successes. Last yearâs *Thamma* opened at Rs 24 crore, while *Stree 2* set a much higher benchmark with Rs 51.8 crore on its first day. It also trails behind *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2* and *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3*, which opened at Rs 14.11 crore and Rs 35.5 crore respectively.

The current trend suggests that while the film has managed to generate early traction, its performance remains inconsistent across days. How it holds over the weekend and into the coming week will determine whether the initial momentum can translate into sustained box office stability.
For now, *Bhoot Bangla* stands at a point where growth is visible, but not yet steady.
