After nearly four weeks of a commanding theatrical run, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, led by Ranveer Singh, is beginning to show early signs of fatigue at the box office. On its 26th day in cinemas, the film registered a noticeable drop in earnings, reflecting a shift in momentum after a consistently strong performance through most of its run.

Industry tracker Sacnilk reports that the film collected Rs 5.20 crore on its fourth Monday, marking a sharp 64.1 percent decline from the previous day. The figure comes from 10,286 shows across the country, indicating that while the film continues to enjoy wide theatrical presence, weekday footfall has started to taper.
Despite the dip, the overall numbers remain substantial. The filmâs India gross has reached Rs 1,303.37 crore, with the net collection standing at Rs 1,088.62 crore. These figures place it among the more dominant theatrical performers in recent memory, underlining the scale of its appeal over the past few weeks.
The fourth weekend, in particular, offered a reminder of its staying power. The film brought in more than Rs 35 crore during that period alone, suggesting that audience interest remained steady through the holiday stretch. A lack of major competing releases has also worked in its favour, allowing it to retain screens and visibility.
The only notable challenger in recent days was the Telugu film Dacoit, which, despite receiving positive feedback, did not significantly impact Dhurandhar 2âs collections. The Hindi film continued to draw audiences across markets without facing meaningful disruption.
That could change in the coming days. The upcoming release of Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan and starring Akshay Kumar, is expected to bring fresh competition when it arrives in theatres on April 16. The actor-director pairing has previously delivered successful comedies, including Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Bhagam Bhaag, and early interest around the new film appears strong.
Globally, Dhurandhar 2 has already crossed Rs 1,700 crore, adding to the broader success of the franchise. Combined earnings from the series have now moved past Rs 3,000 crore worldwide, reinforcing its commercial footprint.

For now, the film remains firmly in control of its box office position, though the coming week may offer a clearer sense of how long it can sustain that hold.
