Junaid Khan’s latest theatrical release *Ek Din* has begun its overseas run with a mixed early response, even as the film draws attention for its casting and lineage. The romantic drama, directed by Sunil Pandey and backed by producers Mansoor Khan, Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit, marks Khan’s second big-screen outing after earlier appearances in *Maharaj* and *Loveyapa*.

The film arrives with added curiosity due to Sai Pallavi’s presence, as she steps into Bollywood for the first time.
