Finance Minister hopeful of 7.2pc GDP growth in current fiscal

ZOOMBANGLA DESK: Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal today expressed optimism of achieving targeted 7.2 percent GDP growth in the current fiscal year (FY22).

The minister said this after a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP).

He said “In the current financial year, the size of the economy will be US$455 billion. Per capita income will reach US$2,785 this year.”

The minister also hoped that the per capita income will reach $3,089 in the next fiscal year.
