MemoMind One returns with camera-free AI glasses from $299

By Yusuf ChowdurySeptember 7, 20263 Mins Read

MemoMind One is back on sale through the company’s website, with the Standard Edition advertised from $299 during a limited introductory offer. MemoMind’s official update says direct orders have moved to its website after the Kickstarter campaign was paused, while a September 6 Geeky Gadgets report reviewed the glasses’ display and assistant features.

MemoMind One AI glasses

The product is different from camera-equipped smart glasses. MemoMind says One has no built-in camera and instead uses a display, audio and an AI assistant. The company describes the glasses as a way to read information, translate speech and respond to questions without pointing a camera at people nearby.

MemoMind’s September update lists multilingual conversation support, AI summaries for translation and captions, real-time call captions and a batch of software changes. Those are company-reported capabilities. They do not establish that every language, conversation type or phone call will work equally well.

The glasses pair with a companion service and can connect with Apple Calendar and Gmail, according to the company and the Geeky Gadgets review. That integration can help the device show schedule information or provide reminders, but it also means buyers should check permissions and account settings before connecting personal services.

The official product page describes a dual-eye display, all-day battery and three standard frame styles: Nomad, Gotham and Archive. It also says prescription lenses are available. The company’s store lists different prices for standard and custom editions, so the $299 figure should be read as a limited offer and not a universal long-term retail price.

MemoMind has also acknowledged a complicated launch path. Its company update says the product is now available to order directly, while earlier campaign information described a paused Kickstarter. Geeky Gadgets reported that early availability had been delayed after an intellectual-property dispute. The current sources do not establish the final outcome of every campaign-related claim, so buyers should rely on the company’s current order, refund and delivery terms.

The camera-free design addresses a privacy question that has followed wearable AI products. Removing a camera does not remove every privacy concern. The glasses may still process voice commands, calendar data, messages or captions, and the company should make clear where that information is handled, how long it is retained and which features require a connected account.

MemoMind’s update says the Standard Edition is in mass production and that orders are being accepted on the company website. It does not provide one delivery date for every region or prescription configuration. Customers should confirm the frame, lens option, shipping window, warranty coverage and return conditions before paying.

The current news is a product-return and software-update story, not proof that AI glasses have become a finished category. MemoMind has published the current price offer and feature list, while the independent review supplies practical context about the device. Long-term battery performance, translation accuracy and software reliability still require broader testing.
