Motorola Edge 70 Neo Leak Reveals Colors, 200MP Camera

By Sibbir OsmanAugust 10, 20262 Mins Read

Motorola appears to have accidentally confirmed its next phone before announcing it. The company opened Android 17 beta registrations tied to a device called the Edge 70 Neo on an official Lenovo community forum, a listing spotted by Nokiamob and other outlets this month.

The beta program specifically targets testers in India, which points to India as one of the phone’s first launch markets. Motorola has not issued an official announcement, price, or release date for the device.

Leaked renders published by GSMArena and Techgenyz this week show a flat display with slim bezels and a centered punch-hole selfie camera. The images point to four color options, including pink, dark green, light green, and light blue variants.

On the back, leaked marketing material references a 200 megapixel main camera sensor as part of a triple-camera setup, according to Macobserver’s reporting. None of these details have been confirmed by Motorola, and specifications on unreleased phones can change before launch.

The Edge 70 Neo is expected to sit below the standard Edge 70 as the compact option in Motorola’s lineup, following the pattern set by last year’s Edge 60 Neo. Chip rumors point to either a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 or a newer Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, though neither has been verified.

Motorola has stayed quiet publicly, offering no comment on the leaked renders or the beta listing. Given how far along the beta testing appears to be, a formal announcement could land within weeks rather than months.

Buyers in India waiting on a compact flagship alternative to Samsung‘s Galaxy A-series and Redmi’s Note lineup will likely have their first real look at pricing once Motorola confirms the launch date. Until then, the leaked renders and beta listing remain the clearest signal of what is coming. Motorola’s last compact Edge model, the Edge 60 Neo, launched at a mid-range price point, and industry watchers expect the Neo successor to follow a similar strategy.
