In an emotional interview released Friday, March 6, on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel, the former Hashtags member admitted that the video circulating online was authentic and said he accepts full responsibility for what happened.

Natividad did not attempt to justify the incident. Instead, he spoke at length about what he described as a personal failure, telling Diaz that no explanation could lessen the gravity of what he had done.

He said he had already told his wife that there were no excuses he could offer, whether arguments at home, alcohol, or misunderstandings between them.

“There are no words that can reduce or cover up what I did,” he said during the interview. “I told my wife everything I did was wrong. Simply put, I told her I was tempted. I gave in.”

According to Natividad, the video itself dates back to around 2022. From the moment it was recorded, he said he understood there was always the possibility it could surface publicly.

He admitted that he had long expected the footage might eventually circulate online, adding that the uncertainty weighed on him in the years that followed.

“I knew the time would come when it would come out,” he said. “I was only trying to delay it because I didn’t want my family to break apart. I didn’t want everything to be destroyed. But I knew it would eventually surface.”

Natividad also shared that he initially tried to deal with the consequences privately, describing a period when he attempted to repent on his own before the issue reached public attention.

The situation changed when his wife eventually discovered the video herself. He said the moment deeply affected her and forced them to confront the matter directly.

During the interview, Natividad recalled urging her to express anger and even leave him if she felt it was necessary.

“I told her, ‘Leave me if you want. Be angry at me,’” he said, struggling with emotion. “But continue with your life. Don’t give up because you didn’t do anything wrong. You’re innocent.”

Despite the turmoil, Natividad said his wife ultimately chose to stand by him. The interview offered little detail about their private discussions, but his remarks suggested an ongoing effort within their family to move forward after the controversy.
