OPPO announced the global launch of its Reno16 series beginning June 25 in Thailand and Spain, with Malaysia and Indonesia launches following in July. The series introduces four models: Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro, Reno 16F, and Reno 16F Eco Edition, each designed with a “3D Pop Planet” aesthetic.
The global Reno16 lineup features a distinctive “3D Pop Planet Design” inspired by cosmic visuals and the concept of individuals as vibrant planets. The design language establishes a new visual identity distinct from previous Reno generations while maintaining the brand’s commitment to bold aesthetics.
All Reno16 models carry a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera as a standout feature, addressing user demand for higher-quality front-facing photography and video calling. This specification differentiates the series from competitors in a feature-conscious market segment.
The global Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro models feature 5,820mAh batteries, stepping down from the 6,700mAh and 7,000mAh units available in the Chinese versions. This adjustment reflects regional power consumption patterns and charging infrastructure differences between markets.
OPPO’s staged launch across multiple regions over the coming weeks ensures market-specific marketing and distribution management. The strategy maximizes media attention and retail momentum across diverse markets simultaneously.
